Summer Movie Nights

Summer Movie Nights

One of the highlights of summer are drive-in movies. Spending time with family and friends over a good flick - how does it get better than that?

Nowadays drive-ins can be more difficult to find. Why not create the experience from the comfort of your home or backyard?! Select a movie or two (double-feature anyone?) from our Greenlights Hot List below, and project that baby!

Now, what are you waiting for? Set up the sound, projector, chairs, and blankets. Dress in comfortable clothes, preferably pajamas. Grab your favorite snacks… popcorn, kit-kat, Reese's. And lastly, cozy up and enjoy the show!

Summer Movie Hot List (something for everyone):

Home Again

Who doesn’t loves a good chick-flick with some comedy, drama, and romance? After separating from her husband, Alice Kinney decides to leave New York and move back to Los Angeles with her two daughters to be closer to her mother. While out to drink with her friends to celebrate her 40th birthday, she meets Harry, George and Teddy, three young filmmakers who need a place to live. She agrees to let the men live in her guesthouse temporarily, which leads to lots of interesting dynamics.

Horrible Bosses

I think everyone has experienced a horrible boss in their life. In this hilarious comedy, Nick, Dale, and Kurt hate their bosses. These friends drunkenly discuss ideas on how to kill the bosses. Eventually, this conversation leads to hiring a “murder consultant.” Put this one up on the screen to see what funny turns this takes.

Now You See Me 2

In the mood for a mystery? The Four Horsemen are back! These magicians are met with trouble in China when tech wizard, Walter Mabry, forces them to steal an important chip that can control all of the world’s computers. Watch to see if they pull off this impossible heist!

Doctor Strange

A few pages from an ancient mystical text belonging to the Ancient One are stolen. In New York City, Stephen Strange, a renowned neurosurgeon, gets in a car accident and injures his hand, leaving him unable to operate. Strange is led to the Ancient One, and she agrees to train him. He comes to learn about the astral plane, other dimensions and experiences her true powers firsthand. Strange has to eventually choose between his life of status in NYC and defending the world and all of existence. Which does he choose?

Blade Runner

In this fantasy, science-fiction film, a corporation creates human clones to be used as slaves outside Earth. Deckard is forced by his police boss to track down a group of replicants hidden in Los Angeles. Deckard ends up unknowingly falling in love with one of the replicants.
