What's So Funny!

What’s So Funny! is a comedy show originally recorded for radio which ran until 2008.  The host of What’s So Funny! is Dave Schwensen, a former television talent coordinator in Los Angeles and New York, author of How To Be A Working Comic, and comedy coach for The Improv comedy clubs in Chicago, Cleveland and Tampa.  In each episode, Dave interviews a guest comedian, discussing how that comedian got his start and tips of the trade. They listen to and comment on bits of his stand-up performances, as well as those of the comedy greats.  What’s So Funny! is now being re-released as podcasts by The Front Porch People in seasonal format.  New episodes every other Tuesday!

GREENLIGHTReviews is a movie review podcast hosted by Hollywood critics, Les Roberts and Ann Elder.  Each episode is about 7-12 minutes in length, and contains an in depth analysis of the film. Les and Ann's Hollywood experience gives them the insight to discuss plot, script, direction, casting, and whatever else you might want to know about a movie! Novel Conversations

Novel Conversations is a show summarizing the world’s greatest works of classic literature: in 35 minutes you get the whole story from cover to cover.  (If SparkNotes had an audio best friend, it would be us!)  In each episode, Frank Lavallo hosts two readers, and the three of them give their reactions to the story and read their favorite passages along the way.  Each episode features Endnotes by Ted Schwartz, a segment with interesting facts about the author.


I've Heard That Song Before

In this show, jazz musicians will listen to and compare different renditions of a piece from the Great American Songbook.
