What Movie Should You Watch This Mother's Day?

We love moms, and in our opinion they deserve way more than one day a year for people to recognize all that they do for the world. However, with the "official" Mother’s Day arriving soon, we decided to celebrate them (rather insufficiently) with this blog.

What better way to spend time with your kids (or with your mom!) than to watch a movie together? We don't really know, which is why we curated this list to help you find the perfect movie this Mother's Day.

We hope that these fun, heartwarming, or tearjerking movies will make you appreciate mom more than ever and give you a good excuse to spend some quality time with her! Be sure to listen to our movie reviews for a more in-depth analysis.

This fun and playful musical is the perfect movie for mothers and their older daughters. This mother and her engaged daughter have a relationship that would make most of us jealous, and their hysterical dilemmas and catchy catchy singing will have you both smiling during this perfect mother-daughter bonding film.

This movie truly shows the boundless love of a mother! You will be moved to tears as you watch Judi Dench play a mother whose child was taken away from her at a young age, and her unending search to find him. As Ann says, “It’s a small movie, but yet it really has a big heart.”

For mothers of younger children, this movie is perfect for bonding time! Watching Andy all grown up will help you treasure the moments you still have with your little ones. While the mother has a small role in this film, it will definitely remind you why you love being a mom so much!
