We’ve got more big news here at the Front Porch Media Network headquarters! It was recently announced that we acquired Pit Pass Media Group, producers of a popular “motocross” motorcycle racing podcast called Pit Pass Moto.
If you are a fan of motorcycle racing, chances are that you’ve already heard the name Pit Pass Moto or listened to their podcast show, as it is rated one of the top podcasts of its kind in America, bringing in close to 800,000 episode downloads in the last four years. This very successful podcast has been a labor of love since 2008 between the original hosts of the show, Scott Casber and Tony Wenck, and guest host, Ed Kuhlenkamp. Together, they created a weekly show that provides listeners with an action-packed two-hour program.
In the podcast, they talk about everything from team owners and motorcycle racers to motorcycle mechanics and industry experts from around the globe. Avid motorcycle racing fans get to hear from special guests who share their experiences and involvement in the motocross industry.
Our very talented and capable Front Porch Media team has big plans to grow listeners for Pit Pass Moto, improve the show’s technology and give the website a facelift, and expand the number of advertisers who support the podcast. The overall listening experience for fans of Pit Pass Moto will be brought up a notch and we plan to make this already excellent podcast even better!
Our Front Porch CEO, Michael DeAloia, orchestrated this acquisition in an effort to grow our brand and build out our podcast catalog under The Front Porch Media Network. “We look forward to enhancing the brand and building new content,” says DeAloia. Says Ed Kuhlenkamp about the acquisition, “We believe that Front Porch Media has the resources required to take the Pit Pass Moto brand to the next level.”
Needless to say, all involved are pretty excited. To learn more about how we are growing our company and our big plans for the future, check out this feature about The Front Porch Media Network in Crain’s Cleveland Business.
